We are the Charlotte Urbanists
We are a local community organization working to make Charlotte a better place to live!
OUr work
Benches for Bus Stops
We raised over $8,000 to build and distribute 80+ benches to bus stops in need all over Charlotte.
This project provides riders with the comfort and dignity of a place to sit, and serves to highlight the lack of basic amenities at many bus stops.
Jane's Walks
Walking tours inspired by the great urban activist Jane Jacobs.
Meetings
Meetings to discuss local policy issues and how we can get involved as citizens and advocates.
Critical Mass
We meet at First Ward Park on the last Friday of every month at 6:45. Charlotte's largest group ride!
